The “ Care Me Home Welfare Society” was formed in 25th June 2004 at Tirap District with Khela village being its head office under Arunachal Pradesh.
The Organization which is registered, non- Political, non-profit making and voluntary in nature was formed for the welfare of local indigenous people of the region, Arunachal Pradesh and North Eastern States in general.
Our society got into association with North Eastern Region Community Resource Management project (NERCORMP) in the year 2015 to engage itself with various livelihood and rural development project aimed to transform the lives of the poor and marginalized tribal families in North East (N.E), under the guidance of NERCORMP our society have formed fifty two (52) numbers of Self Help Groups (SHG) and eight (8) numbers of Natural Resource Management Groups (NARMGs) under various villages like Chingkoi, Dadam, Hukan, Laho and Maktowa under Tirap District under the selfless guidance of “Care Me Home Welfare Society” it divected all its volunteers to various villages and to make them aware about the power and functions of SHG & NARMGs in availing various schemes and livelihood generating activities. The NGO prioritised the poorest of the poor along with rest of villagers in providing them with encouragement and opportunities through various field of activities like cardamom plantation, petty shop, poultry, banana plantation, fish culture, goatery and various such activities. The “ Care Me Home Welfare Society” had been successful in implementing and bringing awareness through various livelihood generating policies of NERCOMP.
The ‘CMHWS’ is also one of the NGO who is volunteering with Government and administration in educating opium addicts about the menace of opium addiction in the region. The NGO had marched along with administration and police in destroying poppy plantation in certain parts of Tirap District. The NGO also writes and anticipates that the govt. along with its administration will engage the poppy cultivators and sellers in various govt. related schemes and policies under priority basis.
Thus in this long run of social upliftment the NGO expects and believes that the social change will surely occur in this indigenous land for self reliance and socio, economic development.
